What ports are needed to be opened.

For a firewall or allowed hosts, what ports are needed to be opened at work.

Depends what you're doing. In some cases, no ports need to be opened at all, since a lot of programs work just fine behind a firewall. Every program's different, though, so ultimately, where you have to "drill holes" in your firewall depends on your specific setup. It's not something that's the same for everyone.
