Neither the stable 1.6.1 release (see online scan) nor the 2.0 Beta 5 release (see online scan) is detected as a virus by McAfee nor any other antivirus products. This most likely means that your stick was infected by another PC at some point.
You should move it to a known-clean machine with antivirus and fully scan it for any other issues. You can then reinstall the platform right over the existing one without losing anything.
