PA looks funny. Screen Resolution Problem?

I am running Windows 7 on a laptop with a screen resolution of 1920x120.
When launching PortableApps, it looks like the standard background graphic is too small to fill up the space that PA wants to use, almost like it can't match the screen resolution somehow (i'd attach a jpg if i could). How can I fix this?
