Does anyone have an idea on when their database will be up and running again so I can actually download and try out some awesome themes, or say, better learn to build my own?
I'm also curious about the R34 menu mod.

Although they are meant for an earlier version of the 2.0 beta.
I suspect that they will be updating their page for that.

Does anyone have an update on PTC (http://ptc.kain-planet.de/)? The last update on the site says the servers moved on June 3rd, 2010, and I haven't seen or heard anything since.

I've sent them an E-mail from the link you provided.
I also put a check in the box SEND E-MAIL COPY TO YOU.
I have not recieved my E-mail so must assume that they have not got theirs.
So it looks like the E-mail link isn't working.
I will keep you posted if anything changes and they contact me.

So far, it's just a breakdown of the structure of the theme system, and it's a little wordy. I'll add more and give examples of how to package them in a week or twelve.

One: PTC has been downed for a while due to database migration problems. The tutorials are still there, but their theme DB is ousted.
Two: The R34 mod doesn't work YET (I'm working on it, check out my post here: https://portableapps.com/node/27256) on the 2.0 B5, but I may package the modded platform soon, if you'd like to try it out.
EDIT: I mean the 1.0.2 b3 Platform. That's the one the mod is based AND implemented on.
