Seems to be starting fine now (after only two weeks of pulling my hair out). And of course as soon as I post it starts working. I love portableapps, but man is this stuff unstable. Looking forward to more stability in v4.

Perhaps if you posted a bit more information we might be able to help you better, you didn't really give us much to go on. I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say PortableApps is unstable, I use several applications from PortableApps on a daily basis without any issues, including Firefox.
