Anki (Flashcard Software)

Hello,

I use Anki on a daily basis and was wondering if you could create a Portable Apps version of Anki? Its a very useful tool, and it would be wonderful if you guys could support it.

Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!

Should Be, Mnemosyne

It should be possible, yes, as Anki is open source (GPLv3) and free. And it has support for a commandline switch (See FAQ-Mobile). I'm sure someone will pick it up.

In the meantime, check out Mnemosyne Portable, another flashcard memorization tool that is already in PA.c Format.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Rule Of Thumb: Search Before You Post

Please Search before you post, you may find What You're Looking For.

Note: A Development Test version is not an official release, and thus is not guaranteed to be entirely portable, it is imperative for a DevTest release to get feedback (reply with a comment to let the Developer know about any issues you have, any settings not portablized, anything at all that might help it get to the state of being made an official PortableAps.com app)

Yes, its very nice to use. Mnemosyne is awesome too.

I wish that Anki also will become on PortableApps soon (for my plugins). Thank you so much for your guidance.

Anki 2.0 now out

Now that Anki 2.0 has been released, will it be possible to make a PA version of it? It seems that it should be easier to do than with Anki 1.x, as now you can have all the saved in one place with a simple command line.

Please :)

I would very much like to second that request. Anki is a fantastic piece of software that I use every day. It would be so nice to be able to use it natively at my workplace.
