Hi!
Thanks for the project!
I have a (hopefully little) problem. I tried to install PortableOpenOffice on a SD-Card an my PDA but the ActiveSync stopped with an error. What I did:
1. Copying the .zip to my PC and unzip
2. Copying the stuff to the \Storage Card
And this is the point when it fails. Is there something I can do about this? Is it a n ActiveSync problem? I really would like to use PortableOpenOffice on my PDA there is nothing appropriate.
Thank you in advance!

is designed to be run from a USB Drive, not a PDA.

Ok, but is there an intention to enable PortableOpenOffice for use with PDA / Handheld PC's ? It would be great since there is nothing usefull I could find so far. Word sucks and TextMaker is very expensive. Is it so difficult to make it run under Windows CE?

Pocket PC's/CE Devices, use ARM based processors which have a very different architecture to x86 (i.e. Intel/AMD) processors. There is no intention to make a version for CE as Portable Open Office is really just a re-packaged version of OpenOffice.

Windows Mobile (aka Windows CE) is Windows in name only. It's an entirely different operating system. It's as different from Windows XP as Palm OS is. OpenOffice doesn't exist in a Windows Mobile port, nor do any of the other base apps on which the portable apps are built. And none of the software groups are planning to port it. The one exception is Mozilla... which is doing a browser called Minimo which will be based on some Firefox code.
