When I initially set up Sync, it works the first time, but them every time it automatically syncs, I get an error.
"Sync encountered an error while syncing: Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action."
And when I check the settings, my sync key has been changed.
I've cleared the settings and re-synced many times, but the same thing happens. Even when I keep the files on the local hard drive.
Did you clear the history?
I cleared everything, but I could try again.
Have had this issue for a very long time.
Can't figure out the cause.
Tried Local Install, new profile, different versions - Aurora, Beta Portable.
Nothing helps.
Error always points back to "incorrect password".
Tried per "https://portableapps.com/node/30318".
Still no love.
That's a very peculiar issue, and I've never heard of sync keys changing before. How is sync being set up? As in manually (entering username, password, and key) or through device paring with a code? Are you on a computer that is constantly put in sleep mode or loses internet connection frequently?
