Portable Emacs 23.3 + org mode 7.7

I maintained a portable emacs+ org-mode for myself. Please refer my webpage http://www.nd.edu/~gsong/portable_emacs.html for more detail.

For update emacs or any mode, just download and overwrite the old one. And set up .emacs file.

Hope it is useful for some of you.

Best,

PA.c Format

Hi Geliang, and thanks for putting an emacs package together. Have you looked at PortableApps.com Format and getting it packaged up according to spec? Check out our dev section. If we get it packaged as a PAF, we could make it officially available to users on our site, updater and app store. We'd be able to help you package it up as well.

It is a simple zip file

It is a simple zip file currently, which works for me best. I will check that format, if i have time.

best,

Unsupported

The issue is that ZIP apps are nearly always not fully portable and can't be installed, detected, updated, etc automatically by our platform. Full details are here: https://portableapps.com/about/what_is_a_portable_app#whypaf

Hmm... already available

We already have an Emacs dev test here, and it doesn't seems that it's maintainer is still online; should we merge them?
