But please bear in mind that GIMPShop is no longer in development and based on a very old version of GIMP (2.2.11).
Also, a lot of the tweaks involved in GIMPShop are really just changing existing settings in the GIMP. The only one that was unique was the single-window mode, but that's coming in the next version of GIMP (2.8 ) due out in December.
The user interface and the capabilities in the current GIMP (2.6.11) are much improved from the old 2.2.11.
I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.
Please, we still need GIMPShop back with more tweaking. For instance, instead of the traditional vertical GIMP Tool Options we can have a horizontal Tool options between the Tools menu and the menu bar in GIMPShop, more like in Photoshop. That way I am sure many users will be attracted as it is more convenient working with.
Thank you and looking forward to your next release.
GIMPShop is long dead and was incredibly buggy. It was not made to be updateable. It was not designed to have the features incorporated into GIMP. It was just a quick hack to try it by a single developer.
If you want those features, you either need to petition the main GIMP team to add those features/alter their interface, or create a new team of developers to create and maintain a new GIMPShop based on modern GIMP.
We're not the GIMP developers. We just make GIMP Portable. We're not the ones you need to talk to about GIMPShop.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

What solanus said. We never did GIMPShop because it's outdated, unsupported and insanely buggy. It won't even run on most systems.
Single window mode is coming in 2.8 and you can try it out in GIMP Portable Dev 2.7.x. If you want to use the stable 2.6 branch, you can use our Photoshop layout and single window plugin.
