On Gaim 2.0, people's away messages show up right on the buddy list. Is there any way to make it so I can't see away messages on the buddy list and only if I look at their profile, like in version 1.5? This would be nice, since there are two people on my buddy list who have the most annoying away messages ever...

It's a single option... click Buddies and then Buddy Details. It turns on and off buddy icons and away messages. I don't think you can do one or the other, just both.
