This is an installer that downloads the launcher and portablizes it, it is based on Java Portable Launcher and it requires Java Portable, I will post the pre release and code when i can find it, i started on this a long time ago and got it working i was just thinking i should probably post it.

Minecraft portable was posted in the beta testing forum just a couple of weeks ago.
Otherwise search, there are a number of other versions in the beta testing forum too.
Yeah, there are already multiple versions of MineCraft Portable; there's StarPort's version from 2 weeks and 2 days ago (
2011-11-02), and there's Deisuke's version from 3 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days ago (2011-07-25), and they work OK, but neither of them work as well as TheMAZZter's Version from 1 year, 1 month, 1 week, and 1 day ago (2010-10-10, aka 10/10/10, which was a great day, and marked the occurrence of many awesome co-incidences, e.g. 101010 [in Base 2] is 42 which is the Ultimate Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything, and the position of the Asterisk [*], which is a common wild-card character (IOWit means anything & everything) in computing, on the ASCII chart).You know, that's kind of weird, I mean that the dates line up so well isn't it.
Anyway, the point of this post was supposed to be that with multiple versions already out and at least one of them working fine, another one is not necessary.
