Google Drive is a new service of Google. It works like Dropbox.
You will note that syncdocs as well as Google docs now allows you to have files as well as docs so basically same creature under a different name. You can now host files there as well as music
Do not be fooled by the name syncdocs rather take a look here http://www.syncdocs.com/

sorry.
but i want to use an original and FREE and UNLIMITED soft of this service.
Google do that on their best.
so me and millions other people will love to use Google Drive sync client portable, and prefer at Portable.com format.
thanks for yours effort.

in it is good, and I never said you did not have a right to request, as for what I suggested it is also free ro use with only a 1 gb 250 sync limitation. As for Google dive do you know what the license is? Ironically I am searching Google as we speak and only see Android software now Windows Software perhaps you could supply a link for it?

Here's Google Drive's feature information: https://drive.google.com/start#features
And the announcement from Google: http://googleblog.blogspot.ca/2012/04/introducing-google-drive-yes-reall...
It's more than just google docs integration, far more.
All I was suggesting is now with google docs you are allowed to share more than just docs, you can now also share files etc Also from your first link my page states that Google Drive is not yet available to me (Win 7) So with out a link or a piece of software to make portable how can it be made portable? That was why I initially was offering a short term alternative until the software becomes avaialble

after my bad experience with google I feel that avoiding as many services provided by google as possible must be the aim of everyone just slightly taking care of his data.
Shearing your data is more important feature here then just storing them apparently.
I was one day tempted to open google+ account, just to find out that anything placed to this account is free accessible in first place and have to go and block each single file by hand to be 'private only'. And very nice, it is also not possible to cancel remove the account completely.

Link to download Google Drive portable
[link removed by mod JTH. although free (no cost), freeware needs permission to be redistributed]
Do you have permission to re-distribute it? Is this in PortableApps Format? And why would I want to create an account on a site when all I want to do is download it?

if you want download from 4shared, you need account.
the publisher need to choose other share site like: www.mediafire.com
it o.k. to make online installer?
This might interest you folks, found it via search:

I am very interested as well on a portable version of Windows Google Drive client.
To be able to use it on 'limited' PC...;-)
...I am interested too by a portableapps version of the windows Google Drive Sync
For all interested, here is a link to MajorGeeks for Google Drive v1.0. Also, they list it as freeware. I would be interested in it as well as they offer 5GB free, as opposed to 1GB with Syncdocs, or 2GB with Dropbox (although I do use Dropbox). I would love to use this as my PA.com drive as my collection is getting pretty big. Too much good software at this site.

Google offers the 5gb limit you are correct that Syncdocs offers 1 gb free however it is base d on the 5 gb that Google gives you so depending on what you sync and how you do so it does work. Syncdocs is just a manager and not necessarily giving you the space. Of course since this is freeware permission from Google ( or whoever created the software) would need to be attained unless it was created as an online installer

I see, thank you for clarifying. For some reason, I was thinking they were completely separate. Goes to show you what I know. Peace...

+1 for a PortableApps.com Google Drive client!
I assume by mentioning a Google Drive client you mean this one: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/drive/index.html
I think that this could work because we have already portablised Chrome which would be under a similar license to Drive.
I tried both and SyncDocs is very slow.
CarotDAV does not do automatic sync-ing. You have to manually drag and drop files. Tedious.
Anything better?
The Google Generic GDrive client is good but I could not install on my company computer.
you have tried the latest developmental build of SyncDOcs here on the Portable apps site?

EDIT: Apparently, that was an older version of Cyberduck. Today, it can connect to Google Cloud Services, but I don't think that's the same thing as Google Drive.
DEPRECATED: I have read that Cyberduck can connect to Google Drive, but I am not aware of a portable version of Cyberduck.
I found a JavaScript that claims to be able to sync to Google Drive, but I have not yet tried it (or figured out how it works).
For what it's worth, here's the link:
https://github.com/frank-dspeed/gdrive-sync
Also, Cyberduck used to be able to connect to Google Docs, and can still connect to both WebDAV servers (like CarrotDAV does) as well as Google Cloud Services. Maybe someone who understands how CarrotDAV works can get Cyberduck to connect to Google Drive? (I'm just throwing stuff at the wall with this suggestion...)
Any news?
I need a Portable version of Google Drive. I would love to have it under PortableApps framework. Are there some way I can do it? I don't worry if I need to generate the .paf.exe myself.
Regards.

Wie bekomme ich Verbindung (auf einem fremden Computer) zu meinen Dateien bei Google Drive.
Entgegen der beschreibung wurde ich bei der Installation nicht gefragt nach den Daten für meinen Account bei google.
