Can't update from Platform. Message is: "The downloaded copy of PChat Portable is not valid and can not be installed. ... ".

the updater database was downloading the old one. it's been fixed. sorry about that.

The updater seems to overwrite the whole of the previous folder for pchat losing plugins etc and doesn't seem to save settings after u restart the Pchat application
It's not the updater, it's the way the app's installer settings are done. We'll need the publisher to look into that (Zach).

Completely missed updates on the installer.ini portions, totally new to me, but I just generated a new installer with the installer.ini file included to preserve data folders and the plugin folders though the plugins will need to be updated but will introduce that as a plugin pack.
