Whenever I attempt to open the program, it consistently crashes. This is a new installation, so I am unsure why it is being like this. What could I do to fix it?

December 2025 Site Slowdown Being Addressed
Just a few details would help. What's the full path it is installed to (example: D:\PortableApps\ThunderbirdPortable)? What operating system/version are you on? Are you running ThunderbirdPortable.exe directly in Windows Explorer, from the PortableApps.com Platform or something else? Do you see an error message, if so, what does it say?

I am also having the same problem.
TB just becomes non-responsive.
I am running it off the portable apps platform (updated) on an Win 7 64 bit machine.
