When you notice that a new version of an app is out you can check the Outdated Official PortableApps thread. If the app is not already listed there, you can report it it in that topic.

TeamViewer is already in the list, and will more than likely be released sometime today.

I just want mention that the current version of teamviewer8 does still install the version 7 in fact.
