I have finished creating a portable version of Trillian 5.3 that works.
It does have some rough edges though, and I could use some advice from the
pros on here that actually have a clue what they are doing (because I do not).
The obstacle I have is that on a Windows 7 system, a Trillian installation puts stuff in:
\Users\\AppData\Roaming.
I need to know how to force the launcher to create that structure under the Data area (TrillianPortable\Data) on the portable app host.
Also, can anyone define for me what the 'PAL' variable actually translates to? I see it everywhere, and have searched all the documentation, but can find no definition anywhere.
Marcus
I made a launcher that is pretty stable and ready, but I don't use Trillian anymore and stopped supporting it.
Here is a link to my SkyDrive where all my PortableApps are.
Inside the Unsupported folder is a launcher that copies the locally installed Trillian to make a PortableApp. Also all of the stuff you would want/need launcher/code wise would be there.
