GIMP: Avast reports "Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]" in gspawn-win32-helper.exe, blocks download

Trying to upgrade to GIMPPortable_2.8.6.paf.exe via the inbuilt updater fails due to AVAST! Antivirus' Web Protection blocking
