write protecting autorun.inf

currently, two of my flash drives have Panda USB Vaccine treated autoruns that are completely untouchable as a solution. but this makes renaming both drives impossible for some reason.

so to summarize, my questions are:

* Why do the treated autorun prevent renaming the drive?
* is it possible to have PortableApps generate its autorun and lock the generated autorun from further editing/deletion to protect it from malware hijacks?

* extra question: can i prevent deletion/moving of the PortablApps.com/Documents folders? malware like fakerica that move folders and are VERY inconvenient.

I'm asking because i use both drives on different PCs both clean and malware infested.

cleaning up the infected ones is obvious but does not really address my issue.

no

I dont know of a way to make the autoprun.inf write-protected or stop a program from manipulating your folders. Thats the downside of the folders being nromal folders which can be accessed and moved by everyone

okay

I forgot to mention that i've heard of methods to lock the autorun, but nowhere do they say that you can lock a non-empty autorun, that's why I asked here.
