Application: Deluge
Category: Internet
Description: From the publisher's website:
Deluge is a full-featured BitTorrent client for Linux, OS X, Unix and Windows. It uses libtorrent in its backend and features multiple user-interfaces including: GTK+, web and console. It has been designed using the client server model with a daemon process that handles all the bittorrent activity. The Deluge daemon is able to run on headless machines with the user-interfaces being able to connect remotely from any platform.
Deluge features a rich plugin collection; in fact, most of Deluge's functionality is available in the form of plugins.
Deluge was created with the intention of being lightweight and unobtrusive. It is our belief that downloading shouldn't be the primary task on your computer and therefore shouldn't monopolize system resources.
Deluge is not designed for any one desktop environment and will work just fine in GNOME, KDE, XFCE and others. We do our best to adhere to the freedesktop standards.
Deluge is Free Software and is licensed under the GNU General Public License.

Note: Deluge has been made portable before by Patrick Patience and sleepwalker.int; both of which have ceased updates. This project uses none of their original code bases.

I tried installing AutoShutdown plugin, http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=41165.
But, it seems to install but when I check the checkbox in order to enable it it automatically dechecks itself when I click apply.
Tried both installing through preferences and copying egg file to plugins folder. In both cases I am unable to enable plugin.
Any thoughts?
Sorry for the long wait on the response here. I took a look at the plugin you're referring to and I tried installing it using "Install Plugin" in the Preferences menu. I then did the following to make sure it installed correctly:
1) Without trying to activate it, restarted Deluge, and made sure it was still in the list (which it was)
2) I then checked the box next to the plugin name, clicked apply, and restarted again to see if it had the same effect that yours did. It was still checked upon restart.
3) Finally, I changed the option in the AutoShutdown section and restarted to see if that changed anything, but it didn't.
Basically, I couldn't reproduce your issue on a clean install of Deluge portable. If you weren't trying on a clean version, can you just tell me any other details that might help? Maybe torrents downloading could impede this in some way that I'm unsure of. Sorry I couldn't figure it out on the first pass.
First of,
New version: Deluge 1.3.7

--------------------------------------------
Thanks for checking it out.
I tried clean installing again, but no luck.
I went to the site/forums and came across this,
I believe it to be the issue: The person who wrote the code mentioned in the forum, "Ah likely because I was testing in dev mode that has all the win32 python modules. The Deluge has a reduced set of only those required."
He does not provide a fixed version, though, he only mentions what to change in the source. I tried finding where to make the changes but could not, [https://github.com/cas--/autoshutdown].
Hopefully the new version of Deluge fixes some possible compatibility issues with the plugin. I still wasn't able to find any issue with the plugin, but I'll admit to not using Deluge in my day-to-day.
