Portable Codecs Pack - Can it be done?

Has anyone tried to see if this idea is possible? I believe such a project would certainly legitimize having VirtualDub as part of the PortableApps suite, but it could also open the door for other potential portable projects, some which do rely on installed codecs.

On a further note, has anyone tried to use VirtualDub portable in conjunction with Cameyo to create a portable Virtualdub with codecs? I believe it is possible to link softwares into the one package using Cameyo, but at the moment I have only tried this process with JDownloader which has proved problematic. So two questions for portable software enthusiasts to answer and I hope some of you will.

Cameyo discussion is not

Cameyo discussion is not permitted, I think due to the legality of their apps library which in some cases is believed to have some packaged without permission from the authors.

If at first you do not succeed, use more sticky tape.
