Some OS options....
WackGet (http://www.millweed.com/) or TrueDownloader (http://francis.dupont.free.fr/truedownloader/) might be good canidates, espescially for the suite. Include a dowenload manager & flashgot and portable firefox become more usefull immediately...

I use the Firefox Extension DownThemAll. It integrates very well with Firefox and allows multi-part downloading.

New version looks good
I'nm impressed with the latest version of dTA. Last time I used it it was usefull only for downloading from multiple links quickly. Looks like the new version includes a decent dowload manager as well.

Downloads can't be joined by downthemall
I use downthemall, after finished download, the file can't be joined.So, i can't got these file. Any suggest for me?? THX.

hmmm....
I have seen that only a few times... Every time i have seen that, I redownload with only a single chunk and it works fine. It also depends on the site as well. I know a few sites that even using 1 chunk it will not download and fails everytime. For those I have to go back and use the built in download manager as nothing else will work. DTA is a great plugin. You just have to find what sites to use it on and what not to and how to configure for those that are tricky about connections.
