Is possible another file in the root?

Hi! I'm Jordi from Spain. This is my first post, hi to all!!

I need something I don't know if it's posible. I've downloaded the Chromium portable (and the portableapp installer too) and now I want to re-package Chromium but with the difference that the file ChromiumPortable.ini will be in the root folder (I want for example to set the homepage or to disable plugins installation... and I think the unique way is with the ChromiumPortable.ini in the root folder as says the help.html), customize the portable app. It is posible? I've tried to modify the AppInfo.ini with:

PreserveFile1=\ChromiumPortable.ini

But when I install the modified chromiumPortable.paf.exe I don't see the ChromiumPortable.ini file in the root, so the app starts as default.

It's posible to do what I want? customize some chromium settings by default into another .paf.exe..? thanks!

Jordi

PreserveFile

PreserveFile is only for the installer.ini and is only used by the PA.c Installer at install time, so it must be compiled in ahead of time. An existing installer.ini that exists in an app that's being upgraded is ignored.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
