Clean

The PortableApps.com Platform itself is clean by default from us. Here is the current beta scan (MD5: 17c964b61f4d59d147c91537b93a2873) and the current stable scan (MD5: 17327c56320577c60ccc5ce761f8c9df) from VirusTotal. Both files are digitally signed with our "Rare Ideas, LLC" corporate certificate.

PortableAppsPlatform.exe doesn't do anything suspicious at all. It doesn't even have the ability to connect to the internet. It simply runs other apps.

Note that there is a chance your administrators prohibit portable software and have Sophos set to alert on the platform and other apps.

If that's not the case, please let your admins know they can drop us a note at our developers contact address and we can assist them further.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

HelloI believe you. Before I

Hello
I believe you. Before I use a new program I test it also with Virustotal.com
Due to the message I have Sophos leave a message to come.
As soon as I know something, I share it with you.
If necessary I can also show you the screenshot.
Sorry for the late reply but I'm in the exam stress.

Sophos Answer was
it is not FP, just an application control detection: AppC/PApps-Ins
I think the customer used different settings for AppC
