There's a well-known bug in all versions of FreeFileSync after 6.2 that prevent it from being launched by another app. This prevents us from packaging it. It also prevents users from using the base portable version with the PA.c Platform or other portable menus and the local version with an alternative start menu or scheduling app. Details: http://sourceforge.net/p/freefilesync/discussion/open-discussion/thread/...

The bug is 9 months old and the author doesn't seem too interested in fixing it.
