Autoplay

I noticed that u3 runs as a cd drive and windows autorun does everything from there. However I also noticed that Autoplay does not run. I have modded the install to use my own .iso and can make it emulate the cd drive and autorun any program I want. But I cannot figure out how to turn off the autoplay option.

Yes I know how to "take no action" and disable autoplay on my computer but I want to disable it on every computer it is inserted. Like U3.

clarification of terms used:
Autorun - for cd's
Autoplay - the application used to choose what you want the drive to do

Thank you to anyone who can help.

U3 makes itself appear to be

U3 makes itself appear to be something else. Windows just reacts differently, that's all.

Partitions....

U3 basically has two partitions. I did the same with my 8GB drive. You basically have two partitions on the drive. The first is a hidden one with an iso image, formated and with a bit identified as an CDROM. The other which you can view, for your stored data with a bit identifying it as an USB drive. It's this partition you see with autoplay/autolunch. Much the same as Dell does with there restore partition.

Google for an answer ... everything from programs to hacks..
