Open Office--use single programs to save space??

Forgive me if I am ignorant of the available information, but I had a curiosity of whether it is possible to, say, use just OO Writer or Impress? It would be a real help if anyone could get me a list of the files required for each of the programs to work.

No it isnt.

OpenOffice IS one programm.
It is not possible to only use for example OOWriter.
