Cutdown Windows XP to run Portable Apps Suite applications only

Does anyone run solely the Portable Apps suite from a cutdown version (nlited) of XP and what are your recommendations of what to retain as a mimimum operating system. Would appreciate your feedback. Cheers

Well I don't use the full suite and I add a few portable programs that aren't part of the suite, but in my experience it works extremely well to add the suite to a Bart PE disk.

Then you can put the CD in boot to your own copy of windows and run your own apps. Also assuming you have the drivers for it on the disk, the suite will run just fine off a USB stick in Bart PE.
