publish apps under Portable Apps

First we would need to define Publish
Second it generally would be released in development stages to be tested for portability.

What is the license on it?

Is the app open source, or freeware with a license that allows repackaging and redistributing?
If so, you are welcome to post it in the Beta Testing section of the forum as soon as you are ready, just be sure to read this thread and the articles it links to.

• If you are the developer of the base app, then no worries, you are welcome to post it.
• If you are not the developer of the base app and the package is an online installer (the installer downloads the app at install time and extracts it to the necessary location), then you should be right to post it, too.
• If you are not the original developer and your package is an offline installer (the app is bundled in the installer), then you will have to gain permission from the copyright holder before we will accept it here.

Just be aware that while making an online installer may sound like the easier option from what I have said above, there are specific technical limitations to online installers, and many users do prefer offline installers.

Is the app under a commercial or similar license?

• If you are the developer of the base app, then please contact the business development email address on our contact page to get in touch with someone who can help you further.
• If you are not the developer of the base app, sorry, but we cannot accept paid apps from sources other than the original developer. You are always free to ask the developer to get in touch with us directly.
