autoinstall

hi
is it possible to make the apps autoinstall, i did an update and had 163 and i downloaded them then had to click on all the
programs to install them one at a time, liberkey has autoinstall on all programs you just start the download and walk away
and when you get back they are downloaded and installed.

Keep the Platform Open

If you close the platform, the app installers can't run in silent mode. If the platform is running and you use the PortableApps.com Updater, all the apps will install in silent mode. If that's not occurring, it can indicate a permissions issue or running under the wrong context (admin vs user account for instance). I've only seen that happen a couple times over the years, though.

The one exception to automatic/silent mode is if the app is showing you a license agreement for the first time or if the license has been updated since you agreed to it (the system keeps track of which version of the license you agreed to). This is required for legal reasons. The app can't legally be installed unless you agree to its license. Installing it and then showing it on first launch wouldn't be permitted for most of the apps that have licenses. We have work in progress to move the license agreements to the beginning of the installation process for all new/updated apps but it isn't quite done yet. Once it is, it will make things easier for users with lots of apps.

One note that we don't permit discussion of Liberkey here due to it hosting and distributing software illegally. A large number of their apps are distributed without permission or in violation of the software licenses. Liberkey even got its start by distributing apps from PortableApps.com with our splash screens, licenses, and copyrights removed in violation of copyright law and the GPL open source license we make our software available under.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
