There are two things I'd like to adress with my feature request. I keep my PA-Platform synced between two PC's and a Cube i9 Windows Tablet.
Is there a way to make the application list scrollable via touch gestures? I happen to open applications by accident by missing the narrow scrollbar with my fingers.
The second request is a slimmed-down version of the launcher layout. Something like this: http://abload.de/image.php?img=pa0qutd.png
Thanks in advance

Slim layout / touch feature
Some touch abilities are planned but will be coming when we switch compilers. Currently, the platform is compiled in Delphi XE2 from a few years back due to it being the last version that worked properly on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. After a couple releases didn't work well on Windows XP, Delphi began working well on Windows XP again even through it wasn't officially supported any longer. The current platform compiles with Delphi 10.2 Berlin, the current release, without issue. We'll be switching to this shortly. It has support for touch input, so we'll be adding in support for things like scrolling the app list via swipe.
As for an alternate layout, we're planning to standardize on the 'modern' layout you see in our default theme and are shortening the height of our older themes to match. The main reason for this is proper high DPI support across both standard DPI settings and custom ones. I don't think we'll be slimming it horizontally as that will add a decent amount of complexity to that support. As the platform is only on the screen when you interact with it, losing 100px in width doesn't really gain a lot in terms of usability. Unless there's something I'm missing.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thanks for providing some insight into the development!
After reading about your plans to improve support for non-PAF apps, I thought about replacing my current SE-TrayMenu launcher

I like the minimalistic style of it and I'd even love to completely get rid of the buttons on the right side of the PA-launcher.
A scrollable app-menu with the searchbar above would fit all my needs. I agree, in terms of usability there's really nothing to gain there. It's just personal taste.
