GIMP 2.9.6

GIMP 2.9.6 is out for some time now, will there be a portable version of this version?

Won't work on all Windows

Have a look over here where we track our outdated apps.

2.9.6 is listed under "external dependencies": it is a development only version, and does not have a 32-bit version available. Since it won't work on a lot of Windows systems, we won't release it.
