Firefox Tree Structure

I guess thats what you call it, I would like to know why it is how it is. I mean there are many of the same folders, such as

F:\FirefoxPortable\App\DefaultData\plugins
F:\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox\plugins
F:\FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins

Why is it like this? Were they made that way incase there are multiple profiles? I couldnt see there being more than one profile on a portable firefox.

Easy

\App\DefaultData\ is copied to \Data\ if no profile exists.
\App\firefox\plugins\ is a directory needed by Firefox itself (AFAIK).
