Expected release date for Musescore 3.x

Hello,
I was wondering if there is an anticipated release date for the portable version of Musescore 3.x.
I've seen this post (not sure how up to date it is):
https://portableapps.com/development/outdated
and this link:
https://musescore.org/en/node/281616

It looks like some work is being done which is great. But there's some suggestion also that Musescore 3.x simply can't be made portable. (I don't understand any of the technical aspects).
Anyway, appreciate any update on this and thanks to any/all who are working on it.

Musescore 3.x

Thanks mjashby. That is of course the same link I included in my original post. I'm not sure what that list tells me though. Also, it is dated 11 July 2012 but has obviously been updated since then.
I'm just trying to get an idea of how far off a portable version of Musescore 3.x is. If there is going to be a long delay I may just go ahead and install the regular version. Would prefer to go portable though.
Again, I appreciate people are working hard on various apps and I don't mean to nag. Just wondering where Musescore sits in the list of priorites.

When ready

We don't provide exact dates or timelines for any application.
The Outdated Official Portable Applications list is just that - a list of outdated applications, as well as the status of those applications.
In the case of MuseScore, you can see that there's a link to the MuseScore issue tracker, documenting work being done to prepare MsueScore 3 for release on PortableApps.com.

The date you're referring to is when that post was originally started, however the post is updated as applications get outdated or updated.
