Hi, I am pretty sure this has not been posted before, but I know the whole BOINC client request has so: As BOINC is open source, and free ofcourse, is is possible to make a portable BOINC manager.
btw, need any help with any of the projects? skype me: nunhucks. I am a BOINC help volunteer and am available most of the time!
btw it has to be v 5.9.3 (not fully released yet)

I did search but all the posts were about the main BOINC client software aka. the whole lot:

BOINC Project Information Files
BOINC Manager
but not about a specific component of the BOINC software: BOINC Manager.
I hope that this clears up to what I mean.
