One of the reasons I like Firefox Portable over regular Firefox is that it allows me to restore my previous session, where lots of information and tabs that I am using, with it's passwords and all that, are already loaded.
The problem I am having is that sometimes, when I have to exit and load FF portable again I get the message that there was a problem and need to reload. An the problem is just there: when I reload all my previous sessions and all its data disappeared.
How can I do to avoid that or force FF portable to read my data? On which folder is that data stored and how can I restore it?
Current version is 72.0.2. If I update is certain that my data will be lost.
The solution I found and continue to use until I get a definitive one is Winraring my working folder and Unraring it when the problem comes. And it's certain that it will, which is quite irritating.
Can anyone tell me how should I proceed, particularly to transport my previous sessions to later versions of FF Portable, which apparently does not seem to recognize the files?
Have you tried having the platform update you? Is there some reason it's auto-updating instead of just notifying you? It should just notify by default.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
When the programs asks to update I don't let it do it.
So I wonder why it says there was a problem and doesn't let me open my tabs anymore.
Is there a way I can force the program to accept them?
