UPDATE
Well, I got one request, and one suggestion.
However, I've decided to take a shot at making A Note/A-Note portable.
A Note is a simple, but handy note taking program with a wide variety of options. The program allows you to create a "Note" which can be seen in the screenshots on the link. You can create multiple notes, each with a different colour, size, text, and format. The notes can be exported and saved wherever (for the portable version, it will be your portable device). The notes can then be imported again easily, and viewed on the hosts/your computer. The notes can also be uploaded to a server for storage, and when you open A Note again at another location (or the same one) you can either manually click to download your notes, or you can have the program do it automaticially. All notes can be deleted the the "Recycle Bin" part of A Note, and then restored again later. Or, the note can be permanently deleted. The program has a wide variety of other options, such as minimizing notes to the side/top of screen, hotkeys, 7/8 default language files which can be easily changed for your language. A Note also has a lot of other options which can all be seen if you download the original version, such as an alarm clock reminder for a "To-Do" note.
That's what I've figured out about the program so far. It's released under the GNU Public Lisense, so I see no problem there. (Right?)
This will be handy for a large number of things, such as:
-Daily reminders while at the office without the regular local program. Eg.Pick up child on way home
-A bunch of other things.
-Like notetaking while at someone elses computer, and then reading your notes at home. (Because nobody remembers everything)
This stops the hassle of opening a text editor, word processor, etc, when A Note is right there in your sys tray.
So, does anyone have any good reasons why I shouldn't do this?
UPDATE
I made it portable, and it can now be downloaded from the beta forums
