GIMP: Live CD swap file problem

Using Gimp on a CDRW i get this message every time at startup:

Unable to open a test swap file. To avoid data loss please check the location and permissions of the swap directory defined in your Preferences (currently "${gimp_dir}").

I checked where the swap directory was -> F:\PortableApps\GIMPPortable\Data\settings

Could this be another INI file problem? Any clues?

Known Issue

It just does that. There's no workaround.

Alright

I think you should add that to Gimp's "Known Issues" list.

btw, there may be mistakes in the .ini's of TB and SB

CD support

I was actually thinking of dropping live support since no one seems to use it. I know I gotta update the INIs.

Hehe

That's not a bad idea... I've only been using it on a CD because I bought a 50-Pack of CDRW's, way more than i need Smile
