What will the actual version of Thunderbird Portable be that replaces the 78.14 version?
Firefox 91 ESR portable has been released, but nothing for Thunderbird which basically has the same Mozilla stable release
schedule as Firefox.

It'll be released as soon as it's done and tested. I'm a bit behind due to some personal and health stuff going on.

I've been upgrading the 78.14 portable since v91 from Help > About Thunderbird and both 32-bit & 64-bit v91.3.1 seem to be working fine for me, so no hurry.
I appreciate all the work being done and apologize if my OP sounded different. Hopefully you are doing better. I wasn't aware of those problems .
I tried the update from the Help > About menu, but after the app relaunched, it's still at 78.14.0. Any ideas on why?

I've upgraded like this a few times now.
Well, I tried again today. The first time I tried today I received an error. Closed the About Thunderbird window, reopened it and tried again. The second time it work, and after clicking the restart to update button, it's now at 91.3.2.
I'm sure the very first time I tried it (earlier this month), I had the restart to update button, but it didn't actually update.

So im using 78.14 portable edition (there is no newer version of Tb portable.. Sad ), and automatically updated to 91.4.0, looks good, but, will there be any problem? ..this wasnt a normal update, im only update portable, when its comes out.. Help.. THX THX ! Will it realase the 91.** portable soon ? Thanx a lot!
