A way to read email without download to the drive?

I would like to use TBP to access my imap accounts without saving any of the messages I read onto the drive. My driveis only 2 gigs, and I store other work on there. Is this possible via IMAP? I just want TBP to get on the server, let me read my mail, then disconnect and leave all the mail on the server not on my thumbdrive.

That's the way TB works by default. Unless you set it for offline access. I think it'll keep some cached files on the disk, but it will not download all your email to the disk.
