What is LibreOffice 'Legacy'?

Hi John,

I see in Outdated Official Portable Applications that you are currently building a "LibreOffice Legacy 7.5.9.

This is confusing. As far as I am aware there are two 'editions' of LibreOffice — there is LibreOffice Fresh and LibreOffice Still. So what is LibreOffice 'Legacy'? Is this something new?

Legacy Version

It's just a legacy/discontinued version that users might need for specific reasons. Like we do for Firefox: https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable/legacy

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thanks a lot John,

Thanks a lot John,

That's definitely worth a second donation from me when it comes out. I have also seen that the latest security issue was corrected in version 7.5.9 and 7.6.4 according to this list:
