Moving local profile to TB portable

Moving local profile to TB portable

I followed the directions and copied my local profile to my key drive in thunderbird portable\data\profile. When I open TB portable from the key drive it appears to be using the default profile. It prompts me to download all my inbox and none of my local folders are there. What am I doing wrong?

Did you try

this:

Sometimes, certain profiles will cause the launcher to fail or hang. 
In that case, start from scratch and try just copying your mailstores (Mail and ImapMail directories) 
as well as your prefs.js and abook.mab files.
