Hi,
I can't start LibreOffice from the PortableApps.com Plataform. It displays the splash screen, no error message, and doesn't open, this is for any of the apps of the suite.
The problem has been reported in previous topics:
https://portableapps.com/node/67042
https://portableapps.com/node/68530
Those are old and they seem to have fixed it, but it this is happening to me now.
Running Windows 11, everything is updated. I've tried moving to another folder like C:\Libreoffice but it still won't start.
Important note, if I download and use the download from https://portableapps.com/apps/office/libreoffice_portable without using the PortableApps.com Plataform it works without problems.
What could it be?
Thanks and best regards,
John
¡hola!
Try basic tests, like a new installation of the platform/LibreOffice, somewhere else. If it only happens in your older installation, then something may be corrupted, locally.

Hi ANTICHRISTUS REX,
Thanks for the reply! I've tried removing and adding the LibreOffice from the PortableApps.com Plataform, the problem persists.
Sorry I'm not thinking of re-installing the PortableApps.com Platform, it is updated and working fine for everything I've installed from it.
(Maybe there's a folder / settings I can reset, without having to remove the whole platform and apps I've installed with it and are working fine)
What's the full path to your pa.c platform install?

Hi,
It's C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Portable\PortableApps\PortableApps but as I've said, even copying the LibreOfficePortable folder to C:\LibreOfficePortable doesn't make it lunch either. Only the install package without using the platform works.
That path is too long for LibreOffice Portable to properly install to and run from. I'd suggest moving your last PortableApps folder to your user folder. That's one of the locations the PA.c Platform offers to install to for example. So it would be C:\Users\Administrator\PortableApp\LibreOfficePortable. It should run from there.
