The latest version posted in pa of libreoffice portable can't use any dictionary, upon press f7 to check the spelling only show [none} lang available.
In the extension the dics are enabled or can't enabled if are not already enabled, show an errorrelated to mingw x64 version.
Installed any dictionary the same happen.
Using the winpeck version, the dictionary work, but is 34.2.0 version.
Can be all dictionaries uninstalledin the PA version to check if related to the builtin dictionaries included?
The dictionary included can't be enabled or reinstalled, using a version without dictionary can be used to check if oneof the dictionaries included is messing with libreoffice portable, the installer version work fine but i need the portable libreoffice.
You need to state at least the following:
(1) Precisely what version of LibreOffice (portable) are you using?
(2) The language of the dictionary you are attempting to use?
You should also be aware that when you install dictionaries to LibreOffice Portable, when asked, you must install the dictionaries (or any other extension) as "Only for me". If you do not do this then you break the portability of you installed LibreOffice Portable. For more detail on this read this webpage: https://portableapps.com/support/libreoffice_portable
All above said this doesn't sound like a problem with LibreOffice Portable. — I just downloaded and tested the latest Fresh version 24.2.3.2 myself and out of the box it works fine for spellchecking 'English UK'. From that I concluded that the problem you are facing in specific to your own installation and not a directly a problem with LibreOffice Portable (Fresh).
You could try forcing a reset of your User Profile. To to that do the following:
(1) Shutdown/Exit LibreOffice Portable.
(2) In Windows Explorer drill to the following folder location [Path to your LibreOffice installation]:\LibreOfficePortable\Data\settings
(3) Inside that folder you will find a folder titled user. Rename that folder to user OLD. Doing this will force LibreOffice Portable to create a new default profile when I next launches.
(4) Launch LibreOffice Portable to see if the problem has been solved.
(5) If the spellcheck problem is solved then all is well — though you will have to step through all the LibreOffice settings to get them as you want them.
(6) If the problem is not solved then I would advise posting into this forum and ask for help there. https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/ (note: despite the URL address that forum also deals with LibreOffice so no problem). If you do post into that forum be certain to state the version of LibreOffice you are using, state that it is Portable, and state the spellchecking language you want to use.
P.S. If the profile reset didn't work then you can shutdown LibreOffice again, delete the newly created 'user' folder, and rename the folder 'user OLD' back to just 'user' — doing this will save you from stepping through all the settings again.
Use Portable Apps on both Flash Drive and HDD/SSD.
