I copied on to a new USB stick using a current backup from a stored desktop, and after it completed installing, I launched the Start button to get the menu to pop up, and I see that I got a Shutdown button instead of Eject button instead. When I click on the Shutdown button, it's asking me if I want to shutdown Windows or not. I don't want that. Not at all.

What gives? How to fix?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Right click on the Shutdown button. You'll see options for Automatic (default), Eject, and Shutdown. Select Eject. Your external drive is presenting to Windows as non-removable, so the PA.c Platform goes based on that. Non-removable doesn't actually mean it's not removable. It's still ejectable by our included utility and the system tray ejector. But you likely won't see an Eject option when you right click on the drive in Windows Explorer.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Why is that? It's formatted as exFAT? Would that have something to do with it?
You're right, I don't. It's a new SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB USB 3.2 stick. I never had a stick that didn't have an eject option in the right-mouse click menu before. Again, why do you think it doesn't it have it?
Ok, I did that. Will it save that setting and remember it? Or will I have to change it all the time?

Again, thanks for your time.
