Is it possible to make OpenSSH portable?
I'm aware that the ssh server is implemented as windows service. Is it possible to make it portable?
Can anyone give some clue?
Thanks

I was under the impression that PuTTY could handle SSH..

Yes, PuTTY is a good ssh client tool. But it doesn't include a SSH server. I hope the SSH server could also be portable.
had an entire discussion on how putty is an SSH client. i didnt know what it was so i asked and we made a good discussion at https://portableapps.com/node/6041. i dont know anything about the SSH server that you guys are talking about.

You need admin rights to start/stop a program as a service and to me that's not truly "portable"...even if it's running from a thumbdrive.
