Small post for saying I see today PortableApps announces the release of the 2.0.0.4 version of portable TB.
I tested, and the update failed my TB. I removed however the files recommended in the forum portableApps and removed the extensions before the update (https://portableapps.com/node/5202). But nothing better. No more email this day! the error message is (Chinese for me):
Erreur d'analyse XML : entité non définie
Emplacement : chrome://messenger/content/messenger.xul

You most likely have a corrupt profile. Try deleting extensions.rdf and localstore.rdf in Data\profile and see if that works.

To migrate from the portable v1.5 to the portable v2, I completely removed the contents of the folder ThunderbirdPortable and I just kept the folder "Thunderbird_Portable\ThunderbirdPortable\Data" and its subfolder (gpg, plugind, profil,settings) nothing else
It seems that it's OK.
I hope not having corrupted anything.
What do you mean of that ?

The files that occurs failure are :
\Thunderbird_Portable\ThunderbirdPortable\App\thunderbird\chrome\fr.manifest
and
\Thunderbird_Portable\ThunderbirdPortable\App\thunderbird\chrome\fr.jar
I think that a lot of french users will have the same problem.
Just delete this 2 file and all is OK !
