Recommendation for portable search app

I am looking to install a search app on my USB thumb drive. I installed Agent Ransack (portable version, from their own site) and it was excellent for searching titles, but when I asked it to search content, it (reasonably enough, I suppose) searched through every video file that I have, which slows down operations considerably.

Is there a search utility that will let me exclude certain file types, when I search for content?

Barring that, I have seen here at the portable apps site, three search utilities:

Everything: https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/everything-portable
Wise JetSearch: https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/wise-jetsearch-portable
WizFile: https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/wizfile-portable

Does anyone have experience using any of them, good or bad?

File name VS Content

Searching by file name:

  • Everything: Takes few seconds to analyse. Search as you type. You may exclude anything else than a file type (documents, videos, pictures, etc.). Rich configuration.
  • Listary: Unable to test. Excessive CPU usage & other (¿local?) problems.
  • WizFile: Takes a certain time to analyse, very fast, poor configuration.
  • Wise JetSearch: Very fast, no configuration.

Searching by file name & content:

  • grepWin Needs to define a search location. Searches within the content which makes the search slower (depends on disks: Size, full vs empty, HDD vs SSD, etc.).
  • DocFetcher: Untested. Searches within the content of files (read the documentation).

PS. Alternatives.
