John is currently beta testing aMSN, an MSN only portable client with more MSN specific features than any conglomerate IM client [pidgin, miranda, etc].
You can get the latest beta here: https://portableapps.com/node/8024
However, if testing is successful, you should see the official release of that app on the home page and RSS feed.
I don't see the point of the original post since every app they mention is commercial/closed source/etc
At least you pointed them toward OSS alternatives.

Do you know what is the meaning of Open Source Program?

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
thanks for the tip about what is open soure, I have not leart it at school yet but now I know.
Matt
an alternative for anvilstudio is audacity, which is one of the apps listed on the site.
Next time, please check the licensing for the apps you are looking at. sometimes someone will, of their own accord, make a working launcher for a freeware app that isn't open source, but if you are looking for a full package, only open source, GPL licensed apps are looked at on this forum.
So MPlayer & VLC Media Player are the same pluse Gaim & Miranda IM are the same. so in your face!!!
P.S. never be rode to mr matthew.

I don't think he was being rude. he simply listed an open source alternative to one of the closed source apps that you had requested, and he pointed you to where to find it.
And he informed you of the forum guidelines (the very top post in this section of the forum) that only open source applications can legally be packaged as portable by this site.
He also mentioned that people occasionally make launchers (a script that cleans up registry keys left behind by the app, and any other files left behind by it) for closed source apps. In this case, the launcher can be redistributed freely, but each individual user is on their own for obtaining the closed source application.

I think we just fell off of the language barrier. All 20 feet of it. No hard feelings matt.k, I was just giving some suggestions.
It's not a language barrier. It's a "can't spell" barrier.
Vintage!
You are all being too kind with this person... he is in fact being sarcastic and a little bit rude in his posts...

Thanks was looking for the anvil studio because I want to write a song and try to register it. very grateful.
This thread is 5 years old. Try to refrain from ressurecting older threads that haven't been active for more than a couple years.
Some forum software has an option/setting to prevent threads of more than a certain age from being "resurrected" (and some, at least, give a warning to that effect). I wonder if that's an option for these forums... would be nice :D.
