To play rmvb files just

To play rmvb files just download http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/windows-essential-20061... and extract all files (Meaning the contents and not the folder it self) to App/mplayer/codecs (I think the subfolder is mplayer. I really don't know because I left my flash drive at home)

can't play rmvb

Hi,

I followed the procedures as stated by somehow mplayer still can't play the rmvb file. Total 66 files in the codecs .
(G:\PortableApps\MPlayerPortable\App\mplayer\codecs)

Am I missing any files?

My mplayer is as follows: MPUI version (1.1.10build 33) and Mplayer core version (1.0rc1-3.4.2).

Could this be the latest mplayer can't play rmvb file even I installed the codecs?

Can those who are able to play rmvb using the mplayer portable tell me what version they are on?

Am desperate to use the mplayer portable to play rmvb files...

Wrong Path

I think I recall mentioning to John that the only way I could get it to work was to put the codecs into

...\MPlayerPortable\App\mplayer

NOT!!
...\MPlayerPortable\App\mplayer\codecs

rvmbs play fine then. You only need 4 or so files but I don't recall which ones they are

Jup Tim your right!

First i read a topic about putting the files in the codec directory, but that didn't work.
But jup putting it into the directory before, works fine!
